Our software helps medical doctors to write their medical reports faster and more structured. We strongly believe this is essential to advance healthcare towards a more data-driven approach. A key aspect of our software lies in its ability to tailor the clinician’s workflow through personalized templates within Atticus. Our aim is to build top-tier tools for hospital staff, empowering them to adapt our software to the specific needs of healthcare organizations. And we hope to further scale our product by growing our team with an extra developer.

Responsibilities
You make sure our React frontend application stays in top shape ⚛️ You take ownership of your work. When things break, you spontaneously look for solutions.
You help shape and design new features together with medical experts. Translating (latent) needs to simple solutions is your bread and butter. Using wireframes and prototypes you validate your assumptions without loosing you self into the details early on. 🎨
After several onboarding weeks we will involve you in the development of our template designer, empowering healthcare professionals to personalize their user interface 🖌️
Once you’re feeling confident in the codebase, you setup experiments how we can further integrate our AI solutions seamlessly into the application for a enhanced user experience ✨
Stay up to date with latest browser technology advancements to optimize user experience; share insights through blogs, vlogs, and talks about the innovative directions we're exploring 🚀
Requirements
Solid expertise in frontend development with React or similar frameworks
Basic knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar) is a plus 💻
Demonstrated experience in past positions or side-projects 🏆
Passion for keeping up with the latest web development trends and technologies 📚

Interview process
Introductory meeting (20min, virtual): During this first meeting you will get a short intro about the company, our team and the mission. We also expect you to present yourself, what you’re like working on, projects you’ve done in the past, …We will also discuss practical aspects and expectations from both sides.
Technical interview (2h, virtual): Here we will dive deeper in your technical background. During a timespan of two hours we’ll try to add some features (together) to an existing project. This interview is virtual but very interactive, a bit like a code-pairing session. You are free to use all resources you want.
Final interview (1h, at our offices): The final interview is in person at our offices in Ghent because we believe it’s the most effective way to get to know new people.
We do our best to plan all these meetings in less then two weeks.
